Is parking available at the Shrewsbury showroom?
Yes. Ample parking is available on-site at 89 Newman Springs Road. The showroom is conveniently located on Route 35 in Shrewsbury, NJ with easy access from all of Monmouth County and beyond.
Do I need an appointment to shop at Platypus Home?
No appointment is needed to explore our showroom and browse our extensive furniture and gift selection. If you’re interested in speaking with a designer one-on-one, we recommend scheduling an in-store design appointment in advance so we can set aside time to chat with you.
Does Platypus Home offer furniture delivery?
We work with a third party delivery company who will coordinate directly with you, our customer, to schedule a delivery date and time that works for you.
What is your return or exchange policy?
Does Platypus Home carry gifts and accessories?
Yes! We are much more than just a furniture store – we carry a wide range of gifts, jewelry, and accessories. This expansion of our offerings allows us to even better serve our customers – providing whatever they need, whenever they need it.
Accessories, décor and gifts may be returned or exchanged within 7 days for a full refund. Furniture, lighting and art purchased off the floor are considered final sale and cannot be returned. All special orders are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded for any reason.
