It will help your designer to hear about your lifestyle and how you use the space or how you’d like to use the space differently. Have a collection of images that reflect the aesthetic you’d like to capture or the style that speaks to you; these images are what we refer to as your “inspo”. Also, be prepared to share any budget or timeline parameters that your designer should be respectful of. Most of all be open, honest and have fun!
